Kafka’s Night – Two Hours In

If you don’t know, I’m dedicating tonight to recreating Kafka’s illustrious night of creativity, in which he wrote the Judgement in its entirety! I’ve decided the night consists of half the day, for some reason, so I’m going to attempt to write from 10 PM to 10 AM (GMT), with as few interruptions as possible… Ignoring this, of course.

So this is kind of cheaty, as I’m pretty sure Kafka didn’t have one of these blog-type-things to use as a momentary respite, but I imagine he found some way to entertain himself in his creativity, as the night wore on and the heat waves of summer abated, however briefly.

2 Hours in

I’m about two hours in now, and I have a vague idea wher I’m going! I’ve written a little over a fifteen hundred words, but I can already feel my momentum starting to slip. So, I’m going to make myself a cup of tea and possibly a slice of toast, then dive back into it!

Wish me luck!
